World no. 1 T20I batsman Babar Azam gave an insight into his training regime and tactful analysis of the game that helps him prevail in tough situations during an interactive session with the Pakistan women’s team amidst the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.
The 25-year-old focused on the importance of a positive attitude leading up to a match and marked that as a key factor in ensuring better performances for him. He added an approach to holding long practice sessions and going out of the comfort zone helped him succeed.
“I am unable to perform 99 percent of the times when I have a negative thought in my mind that I might fail. It is very important that you don’t change your batting approach altogether because of a failure in one inning. But, try to identify how you could have done better,” Babar said.
