Indian cricketers mourn the Vizag Gas Leak tragedy

The morning of May 7 brought forward devastating news for India as an unfortunate incident took place in Visakhapatnam. Credible reports suggest that a gas leakage from a chemical plant happened around 3am at LG Polymers industry which led to panic among the people residing in the vicinity.

It is learnt that at least 10 people are found dead in this tragic incident while more than 5000 people have fallen sick. Because of the incidents, a number of people got unconscious because of being unable to breath properly. Some also highlighted the issue of sore eyes or rashes on their body.

Like wildfire, the matter was circulated on social media and caught the attention of everyone including the Indian cricketers. From Virat Kohli to Yuvraj Singh to Shikhar Dhawan, a lot of Indian cricketers came forward to mourn the loss of lost ones and share concerns after reviewing the stomach-churning images. Not only that, but they also extended their prayers for all the victims as they are already going through a tough time by battling the mass outbreak of the novel COVID-19.
