Mohammad Amir faced serious criticism from the cricketing world when he bid adieu to the Test cricket in 2019. Following the trend, Pakistan’s wrist-spinner Danish Kaneria backlashed Mohammad Amir for retiring early from the Test cricket. In his YouTube channel, Danish took to Amir and criticized that he backed out when Pakistan needed his services.
“The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) supported Mohammad Amir but when we needed him in Test cricket, he retired and started focusing on league cricket. Playing for Pakistan is not important for him but league cricket is,”- Kaneria said.
Remember, Mohammad Amir made his debut for Pakistan in 2009 and made his name in international cricket before he was found guilty of spot-fixing incident.
