West Indies fast bowler Kesrick Williams recently revealed the details of his rivalry with Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The two individuals first had a face-off back in 2017 when Kesrick conquered him and followed it up with a notebook-style celebration.
Later, in the 2019 T20I series in India, Kohli smashed West Indies into submission taking a special liking to Kesrick’s bowling. Kohli even mimicked Kesrick’s notebook celebration depicting the fact that he still held a grudge with the right-arm pacer. Shedding light on this aspect, Kesrick revealed that Kohli was fixated on the ‘notebook celebration’ during his innings.
"As soon as Virat Kohli walked into bat, he walked straight at me & said, ‘the notebook celebration thing isn't going to work tonight. Every ball I bowled he said something but I responded with ‘mate, just shut up & bat. Really, you sound like a child" - Kesrick said.
