England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is collaborating with the UK government in order to chalk out suitable plans to make cricket possible amidst the fear of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We are working closely with the government to establish when and how it will be safe to resume play, and we look forward to sharing our plans as they progress," - ECB said in a media statement.
"ECB is aware of the government's announcement pertaining to the next steps of this crisis and we will continue to be led by their advice" - the board said.
Remember, ECB has already postponed the cricket schedule till 1st July. This extension has affected the Test series between England and West Indies. Moreover, the Test series against Pakistan is also under the threat of COVID-19.
