Despite playing a handful of games, teenage pace sensation Shaheen Afridi has emerged as the face of Pakistan’s pace arsenal. The tall fellow has featured in 8 Tests, 19 ODIs and 12 T20Is to claim a total of 86 international wickets for his country. Moreover, his passion and attitude makes him an absolute gem of a player.
With such skills, it is always natural to see the fan-base of Shaheen swelling. Therefore, he recently received a pat on the back by former Pakistan great Mohammad Yousuf who is of the opinion that the left-arm quick has improved drastically in a short period of time.
Not only that, but the elegant batsman of his times also admits that Shaheen is moving in the right direction. Nevertheless, he advised the 20-year old cricketer to keep working hard. In fact, Yousuf also expressed his wish to see Shaheen scaling heights of success as Pakistan needs him to shine in the absence of veterans like Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz.
