Faf du Plessis, the South African batter, is surely counted among the best batters produced by his country’s soil. Playing a total of 65 Tests, 143 ODIs and 47 T20Is, the aggressive batter has managed to average 39.80, 47.47 and 34.31 respectively.
Particularly, the twilight of his career suggests that after international retirement, he is likely to feature more in the shortest format of the game as it gets celebrated across the world through various T20 leagues. Recently, Faf has shown his interest in featuring in the Bangabandhu Premier League (BPL) which is the premier domestic T20 competition of Bangladesh.
He shared his views during an Instagram Live session with Bangladesh’s new skipper Tamim Iqbal who had his first session with a guest from abroad. It is important to note that du Plessis has scored over 5000 T20 runs at 29.04 while scoring 31 half-centuries and a solitary ton, which makes him a hot product for any T20 team.
